Upon entering the cottage you step through the screened in front porch. The private porch is the perfect place to drink your morning coffee or an evening cocktail at sunset. Inside is a spacious comfortable living room to kick back and relax after a day on the beach. The open concept layout brings together the living space and kitchen. An updated well-equipped kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/utensils to whip up a local seafood dish during your stay. The dining area comfortably seats six at the table. There is a washer and dryer in the cottage for your convenience. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed. The main bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed. The second bathroom features a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom has two twin over twin bunkbeds. Getting Around: The Rookery is located 14 miles down Fort Morgan Road at mile marker 6, turn right into the Rookery. The cottages are marked with their number. Public beach access is located half-mile from The Rookery. Take a right on Fort Morgan Road when leaving the Rookery and then take the first left onto Cortez Street. The beach is located ahead of you down the street. Parking notes: There is a limit of two cars. The passes are $35 each they will be left on the counter when you arrive. No parking of RV's, trailers or watercraft onsite. There is a pool key/fob is located on the keyring. Use this during your stay! You must return it or the HOA charges $100 to replace. For the total comfort of our guests, the kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans. Yet, seasoning ingredients are not provided for the safety of our guests.
